Drainage in Constantine Falmouth Cornwall 

Existing Man-hole for soak away which is failing to work after many years of service.

The cover had been exposed previously to be emptied.

Above is the before pictures before work commences.

Micro digger to excavate the trenches due to narrow access to the location of work

Micro digger can be taken through doorways and spaces from 28 inches wide.

                                          

The pipe is now inserted into the manhole with a filter Tee piece, allowing only water to enter down the new drainage pipe.
A Plastic Membrane is put over the manhole cover for care and future location.
Excavation continues.

                                          

Excavate trench and pipe ready for inspection.
Tree roots have been treated with care with minimal damage.

                                          

Excavations complete for stage 1 of this project and backfill starts.
Mostly backfilled by hand compacted used a wacker plate and the hand tamp.
4 new Garden edge kerbs has been placed down over the existing manhole to complete the work.

 

 

                                                                        

                     

 

                                          

The pathways and grounds now fully re-instated as before with complete care and attention to other trees, bushes and surrounding lawns.
As a Ground works company the final touches are set with high priority to meet high standards.
